What Is My Connection To The Area?

A Family connection to Albany, Denmark, and the southwest spanning over 100 years. I am the proud great-granddaughter of one of Albany’s pioneering families, the great-granddaughter and granddaughter of World War 1 and 2 veterans, the granddaughter of a local fishing family, and one of 5 daughters of a single mother. All of whom taught me the value of an honest day’s work and the value of treating everyone with the respect I would want for myself and my loved ones.

I have raised four sons here in Albany and have been part of community organisations for most of the 27 adult years I resided here leaving in 2009 to travel and continuing to work in the industry in Perth and Qld returning in mid-2021 to be close to family and my three grandsons.

When You Are Doing Something You Love, Time Seems To Fly By.

Wow where does time go. I began my Real Estate career in 2003, 19 years ago, here in Albany. Back then I was Honi Pietropaolo and was a partner in the successful Walton Pietropaolo Real Estate Agency. So, I suppose you could say I’ve come full circle.

Building trust that is earned over time and long-term relationships is my goal. I have always been proud that my business has been built around a high client retention and referral base.

 

I know it is important for a potential client to be confident that I can do the job and get a result so below are the fast facts of my Industry experience.

I’ve partnered in a boutique style Agency servicing Albany, Mount Barker, Denmark, and Bremer Bay, Managed A national Brand Agency, Worked in the building industry, and Off The Plan investment sector, Managed a team of financial planners, mortgage brokers and property investment specialists. Worked with business and commercial clients and property managements. I’ve held Agency Licenses in NSW, QLD and WA. Worked with property contracts in all states except for NT and Tasmania. I am a fully licensed Agent with an Auctioneers license. Over the last 19 years I have transacted the sale of over 700 properties. (I can’t say the total value of the sales. I really don’t keep an exact tally). I have gained the awards and sales pins from major Franchises and have the respect of those of my peers in the industry.

I still get butterflies when I’m going out to meet a client and look at a property for the first time. After 19 years I still never take an invitation to view a property or the privilege to assist a potential client for granted.

The hardest thing about this job?

This is. Trying to write a Bio that doesn’t bore people to death but gives you the reader an idea of who I am and why you should trust me with what is one of the most important choices you make in your life.

 

 

Lessons Learnt in the industry?
You're only as good as your last sale.

It’s a good way to remember not to take people or the job for granted. If you don’t feel confident that you can ask your last client for a referral or to recommend your services to a family member or friend, you haven't done your job.
